Modcloth Monday #12

Need I Say Roar?

I don't think I have seen a more perfect matching set of underwear in a long time, I sure do love some leopard print! Its of course from the ever so wonderful brand Rago so you just know that its made with amazing quality materials, gives you the best curves and of course is amazingly comfortable to wear all day. Even if I can't wear much of this in my current state, I at least want the sexy undies. High waisted under wear has to be the most comfortable thing I have ever worn.

On the Button Sewing Box

I have been doing a lot of embroidery lately and so I have a lot of stray cotton, needles and other bits and bobs floating around several rooms, this adorable button shaped sewing box would be so perfect right now! You open it up by popping your fingers inside the button holes to reveal 5 nicely spaces compartments to keep everything in order.

I'm moving out of my boyfriend's parents house and into our own (rental) tiny apartment this weekend, its all very exciting but stressful. I have been going around collecting strange and cute household items for a while now but I can not help but want to add these 4 to my collection! The first 3 I want mainly for thier cuteness and the last one because my boyfriend loves Lego and cooking so in a way its kind of perfect for him.

There wasn't much in the terms of clothes I liked this week on Modcloth, they seem to be going all into the winter side of things now. Its far to hot to wear a coat in Australia right now! I may share a few of my favorites soon though
:)

Modcloth Monday #11

I don't think I have seen a more perfect shoe in a very long time. Behind Flamingos, cherries is my other obsession (oh and the colour red) so you can see why I love them! These draw attention with a opaque 1.5 inch platform and heel, black suede t-strap, red trim and a huge set of two leafed berries upon the rounded toe. They are by the wonderful Miss L Fire and are inspired by Hollywood's golden era of glamour with a twist of contemporary detail. What makes these even better is I know I would be able to walk in them with ease due to the chunkier heel! I must get my hands on some, and soon because I know these will be popular.

There was a lot of new dresses this week but I thought I would save some for the coming weeks and only bring you two today but they are two amazing ones.

I love the whole package that the Thyme a believe dress has. Its a vintage style dress that makes you think of a home cooked meal on a Sunday afternoon. It has a black and white checkered trim around the sleeves and neck and has several buttons not only to fasten the double breasted feature but to really complete the whole dress in my opinion. I really enjoy the herb green colour used, it is absolute perfection and looks wonderful flowing right down to the very full skirt to create one elegant looking dress.

You will have to click through and check out the pattern on the Cause for Skele-bration dress for yourself as it holds a very festive bunch of skeletons dancing, playing and sweeping their way across this sturdy cotton a-line beauty. There is so much colour held on the ivory silhouette of this dress which looks great with the ruby red sash, buttons and piping. I really enjoy this vintage inspired dress, it just holds so much character and quirky charm.

A handbag isn't just an accessory, it really can be statement piece all by its self while being very useful. Modcloth have just bought out these two new Irregular choice bags and I must say their quirkiness really has my attention. I think the cute little cartoon and details on both are just perfection and would look great with any outfit in your wardrobe (or mine). Its just a matter of choosing which one to buy first.

If you live somewhere cold enough to be wearing jackets right now then I suggest you grab one of these! They have already started to sell out on Modcloth and I can see why, its just so cute! I love the whole varsity style jacket and this one has a set of Cherries with a bow, oh and is lined with a very sassy leopard print. I just wish I lived somewhere cold enough to even think about wearing this right now. It will also make a great pair with the shoes I showed you at the top ;)

Modcloth Monday #10: Wardrobe staples

This week I thought I would bring you a couple of items that I can not live without in my wardrobe. The simple things that can really make an outfit complete in my eyes.

The dream of the crop cardigan

If you are anything like me then you are a sucker for a good cardigan but sometimes you really don't want one of those long ones that ends up hiding most of the dress/outfit your wearing. The longer ones also hide away the curves that the outfit creates. I am always on the look out for cute coloured cropped cardigans and these Dream of the crop cardigans are perfect, even for the warmer weather here in Australia when you want to cover a certain area. They come in 5 colours as you can see, have a 3/4 length sleeves, a wonderful deep V-neck cut and 3 little matching colour buttons. They all looks so cozy to, perfect for finishing off any cute outfit.

Va Va Voluminous Petticoats Long

Va Va Voluminous Petticoats Short

Petticoats have been in my wardrobe for as long as I have dressed the way I have. I love the full look they give to a dress or skirt and can still remain comfortable. I am so glad that Modcloth have brought out a good range of petticoats in various sizes and lengths that match a heap of their clothes. There is also a few other ones on Modcloth that I am yet to try out, they do seem a lot thinner and would give less lift but sometimes that is a good thing. If you want to achieve the full look in a dress or skirt like you see in my images, then you should pop one of these on. I did a post recently about petticoats and this was the first brand I mentioned and I would still have to say are my favorite to wear. Check that post out here.

My black swing skirt is a godsend, so much so I have two different shaped ones. I find these to be a staple in my wardrobe because they can be paired with pretty much anything. From a plain red shirt with a brooch to a highly pattern t shirt, the outfit combinations are endless. This works for all plain coloured swing skirt though, which is a good thing because both of the above skirts come in different colours. I am loving the little two layer effect I see in the Essential elegance skirt, its a really nice touch that I have not seen done before, it would look very cute with a petticoat on. With the Bugle of joy skirt I am pretty sure it is the swing skirt I wear almost daily (I wear it too work) It looks very similar in shape and cut. If it is then this skirt is one of the best purchases I ever made. So comfortable and lightweight and can be worn with or with out a petticoat and still have amazing shape.

I am leaving Modcloth Monday Wardrobe staples at that for now, there is probably a heap more I could show you but that would leave less for other posts.

Modcloth Monday #9 + 15% off everything code (Valid for one day)

Oh Modcloth, stop luring me in with you amazing collection of novelty shaped bags, each one is just as cute the next!

All of the critter-cal mass bags are the perfect accessories for those wonderful bike rides on your little vintage bike. Each one has a removable, black cross the body strap for an effortless hands-on ride. With a number of pockets, this vegan faux-leather bag has plenty of room for all your essentials and its in the shape of a little cute deer! What more could you possibly want in a bag?

Now when I saw the vinyl Jaws the two of us tote I did have a little giggle to myself but then a major want for it. You unzip this dark grey and white bag at the tooth-trimmed smile to reveal a very roomy bag with 3 interior pockets. This wonderful shark has amazing gills and eyes plus, hidden behind those exterior fins are another two pockets. This bag has plenty of room for all your everyday needs. Its just the bag you need to start off any day swimmingly!

As much as a drool over a lot of Betsey Johnson items, I don't actually own any. I think I need to change that soon. This boldly hued vegan faux-leather bag is in the shape of a cute little retro radio with functional speakers! I'm a little surprised that they actually work if I am honest, makes this bag just a bit more awesome. It comes with a cross the body strap for the hands on approach when out filling the air with wonderful tunes.

Its all about the quirky patterns today with these 3 fabulous frocks!

The Frolicsome Foliage dress by Poppy London has to be one the most wonderful scenery dresses I have ever laid my eyes on. Its holds a vibrant forest scenery speckled in autumnal hues of sunflower, tangerine and mint green on an A-line shaped frock. What makes the Poppy England dresses even better is that they are based around the adventures of a little girl named Poppy and her playful pup, Fred. Each dress comes with its own storybook telling you the tales of the adventures behind the look. I don't think you could get any sweeter than that if I am honest.

The clean winner dress is another Poppy England dress that I posted in another Modcloth Monday post a few weeks back but I just have to let you all know that it is finally in stock!

Its very difficult to see the pattern on the Give it your best quest dress because of the image I have but I can tell you its great. The wonderful retro A-line shaped dress is covered in many things you find in your very own kitchen from the kettle to the salt and pepper shakers all on a sleek grey background. I really love the deep V neck shape to this dress along with the centered contrasting buttons, its such a perfect dress for them dinner parties you have planned on the warmer days here in Australia.

So most likely over the next month you will see me post Halloween items as a part of Modcloth Monday. You can check out the item range for yourself here but each week I will be sharing my favorites. Make sure you are getting in quick for these items as they are selling out fast.

How about a a cute retro styled shirt covered in pin up zombies, stars, bows and stitched-up hearts? Well that is exactly what the A touch of macabre top is. Its a cotton-blend blouse with a tie-cropped fit, a Peter pan collar and cap sleeves. Basically everything I could ever want there to be in a shirt. The would go so well with a simple black swing skirt and some little kitten heels for a night out with a spooky edge.

For the Spell it like it is sweater you will have to go take a look at the actually listing. As you can see in the image there is planchette that shares the left side with an expressive moon but this matches something on the back. A Ouija board graphic is largely present across the almost entire back of this wonderfully warm cardigan, perfect for those chilling Halloween evenings.

Now what kind of person would I be if I didn't bring you at least one extremely adorable animal related item each week. I know its not cats but I just could not pass up the little pink tongue on the Pugs face. I hope you are enjoying these just as much as I am.

Modcloth Monday #8 + Free Grab bag offer

I am really loving this deal Modcloth currently have on. Spend $150 or more and you get an adorable tote filled with fabulous accessories for free!

The clean winner dress has been labeled coming soon for a while now so I have put off posting it until now, Hopefully very soon it will be available. The dress is covered in cute white illustrations of hardware store supplies (brushes and tools etc) that stand out beautifully against the soft blue base colour with tiny black dots all over. Its fully lined, with a back tie, side pockets, a broad waistline and a ruched bodice which makes this one hell of a dress! I love every thing about this cotton dress by Poppy London, just can't wait for it to be released!

The picture I have for the rock in the park dress does not do it justice so you will have to check out the actual listing. The little white shapes that scatter the boarder of this cotton fabric pleated number are actually playful white pups with little red collars. This dress is not just perfect for walking your own pooch at the park but for any occasion. The rest of the dress features the little pooches collar scattered over the black material. It comes with an adjustable belt and also front pockets! I am really loving the full shape skirt on this dress that just screams put a petticoat under me (if you like to wear them).

Believe it or dot, the last dress today is my favorite, (I'm sorry, I had to say it!). I immediately clicked this dress today because of how beautiful the teal colour looked with the white polka dot pattern, This has to be one of my growing favorite colours to own a dress in. The dress sports a retro-inspired silhouette with a bow like collar, gemstone centered buttons and a waist that just pulls you in all the right places. Its such a simple looking dress but it has so much potential to be worn day or night.

All the shoes today! There has been so many amazing releases on Modcloth of shoes lately that I seem to be finding myself posting their cuteness each week. I doubt you have any kind of problem with that though.

The Clever so sweet flat in beautiful red are some of the cutest shoes I have ever laid my eyes on. The little friendly foxes that sit at the toes support a red and white polka dot bow that match the rest of the shoe. If you have a look at the listing on Modcloth you will also be able to see that the little foxes tails creep around the heel of the shoe for that extra cuteness! Made from a vegan faux leather this shoes will go amazing with dresses and separates alike. They also come in a grape colourway.

More cats you say!? Why yes, because one can never have enough cat themed clothing in their wardrobe. The Are you kitten me? Heels should be no acception. These adorable mid height black heels are covered in the faces of little white, whiskered kittens, what more could you want in a shoe. If I could walk in them, I would own them.

The last two shoes are both the same but in different colours (thanks caption obvious), I feel you can never have enough simple coloured shoes to go with every outfit on any occasion. Both the red and black Memorable moves heel are a closed toed, mid heel, crisscrossing front strap must have. They support a velvet material all over making them just that little bit more retro. These would go perfectly with pretty much every outfit you own.

So as it was my boyfriends birthday the Sunday just gone and mine next Monday so there has been a lot of talk of cake happening in this house. I really do wish I had this amazing cake stand to pop it all on. The stand has 3 LP-like glass plates that stack onto an ornate silver centerpiece creating a decorative crowd pleaser. I mean who doesn't love cake and especially when its presented so retro-tasticly!

Don't forget to get over to Modcloth for the Fall grab bag while stocks last!
Oh and I know its now Tuesday here in Australia, I am only a day late!
:D

Modcloth Monday #7

I decided not to steer to far from the new arrivals section for Modcloth Monday this week so that's why you get a mixture of things!

The Memphis Melody caught my eye this week for its amazing colour contrasting. Its a delightful A-line dress that's perfect to swing around on the dance floor in. It has a bold red trim and coordinating flower shaped buttons down the middle that helps bring some colour to this amazing black stretch-knit dress. The whole dress comes together with the adorable Peter pan collar with matching red trim, cap sleeves and them oh so important pockets! I personally wouldn't wear this dress (as much as I want to) due to how it would sit over my stomach but I am sure it would look fabulous on some of you ladies out there.

It may be coming out of cardigan season here in Australia but that doesn't mean I have to stop wanting them. The I believe I look fly cardigan (and yes I did chuckle at the title) is one cute looking item of clothing I want in my wardrobe. The cardigan is vintage inspired and holds two perfectly placed embroidered birds on each side of the soft knit cardigan, happily perched beneath the tied, collared neckline. All of this cuteness is bought together by the pearly white buttons running down the middle and ribbed trim.

I have seen the Round-the-frock dress on a few fellow bloggers now and I always thought how amazing it looked each time. Its another vintage inspired dress but in rich hues of forest green, goldenrod and black. A colour combination I never thought could look so good.  The A-line soft tweed dress is covered with a unique pattern combination of classic plaid and dainty polka dots that is then dressed up by the over sized collar with yellow trim and 3 decorative buttons. This dress is just perfection, pity its to warm to wear it here.

Ice cream you say? Why yes please. This sweet treat shaped cross the body bag is so cute. It's built from a vegan friendly faux leather and has a sturdy gold chained strap to sit on your shoulder as you eat a strawberry soft serve and look cute doing so. The bag has a few inner pockets to keep all your belongings safe and sound while you are out having a fun day in the sun. I kind of want this bag so I can look cute all summer.

I don't wear heels all that often but I couldn't just scroll past the both of these amazing looking heels.

The Artistic accountant heel is the most beautiful shade of teal that is perfectly matched with red piping all around the shoe. The front is a vegan faux suede that is not only pipped with red but also bordered with adorable polka dotted ruffles that match the back as well. I love the whole look of this shoe and if I owned the perfect outfit for these they would already be on their way to me.

I am really loving the simple black and ivory colours in the career appreciation day heel. These shoes could be matched with so many amazing outfits and still stand out. The simple heart pattern that covers the vegan friendly faux leather heels lead up to the wonderfully placed heart cut outs atop the front of each shoe. I want these in every colour combination possible, they just need to bring out more.

I should really start wearing more shape giving underwear to smooth out all the lumps and bumps and what better place to start than here?  Both of the corsets are made by Rago, a company that produces amazing shape wear that hugs the female body in all the right places. Each one has its advantages so I will have to let you decided what is best for your body but I do know I really want the cute mesh paneled Simply smooth waist corset, it just looks so comfortable and easy to wear. Oh and of course these would have to be paired with a simple pair of back seamed tights like the Slipping cappuccino thigh highs to give off that over all sexy feel.

This post wouldn't be any good without some form of cats thrown in! I may be 3 months early for the new year but I just couldn't wait to show you this cute little cat calendar!

Not my best Modcloth Monday, my brain just did not want to function! I do apologize.

Modcloth Monday #6

I was feeling some quirky patterns today! Dinosaurs, balloons and cats, such a perfect combination.

Lets start with the adorable Roadside attraction dress, perfect for that road trip you've been planning. The dress is a fully lined printed A-line dress with a wonderfully deep V neck. It's covered in a novelty print of automobiles, billboards, cafes, dinosaurs and other delights you might see along the side of the highway. I really love the busy pattern of this dress, you have no idea what to look at next while you wear it, plus it has a lovely skirt shape that looks super comfortable for those long drive.

The Guest of honor dress in Balloons is one a of a few dresses in the same style but each with its own unique pattern on Modcloth. Each one is composed of a soft, sturdy stretch cotton. The dress features a sky of cute hot air balloons in blues and yellows with a few other colours thrown in to make it even more eye popping. It has substantial shoulder straps, a matching waist tie for the perfect shape and dual pockets on the hips! I love everything about this dress, from the wonderful neck line to the full flowing skirt. Looks like it would become the perfect spring stable in my wardrobe.

So many cute cat faces looking at me from the Hooked on a feline dress, I kind of somehow want to pat each one. I am so in love with the dress mainly because of the many cats but also the amazing shape it holds. The dress features a lightweight material with open cap sleeves and a wonderfully lady like silhouette when you wear it. There is endless possible ways you can style it from a cute pair of flats and a cat shaped bag, to a pair of high heels, a petticoat and a sweet little cardigan. I may not own any cats but I want to be know as the crazy cat lady in this dress.

Bugle Joy Skirt

I know these skirts are nothing to special but they have to be one of the best staples in any wardrobe. I do love my plain swing/A-line skirts, means I can wear my favorite patterned shirts without clashing. Each one of these skirts is made of a slightly stretch material for that added comfort around the high waistline and secured with a button and zip at the back. Pair these with a cute belt and your best shirt and you are good to go.

I know Halloween is getting closer and closer now! It has to be my favorite holidays of the year even if I have never really celebrated it. I just enjoy spooky cute things! I have noticed a lot of people already getting together their Halloween stash and costume and that's part of the reason I had to post this early as you can tell its going to sell out. This little bat is so cute! Its perfect for fitting the smaller needs for a night out trick or treating (or dancing). Its made from vegan faux leather and has a slender removable strap. I think I just want this bag for all year, not just Halloween.

Modcloth Monday #5

As I look at the 7 dresses I choose today I realize that they are nearly all blue. I swear I did not do this on purpose, I guess I am just sick of the constant grey sky out today that I wanted to see some blue.
I ended up going through all 8 pages of dresses on Modcloth just to cheer myself up about the weather but that doesn't matter. You get to see even more of my favorites from the site!

Lets start with both the Bake shop dresses (1 & 3), both equally as cute as the other. I picked this one out today because of the amazing collar/neck line but also the colours in both designs.  The emerald dots dress is the most perfect shade of green which really helps the dots to stand out. The bicycle print on the other hand is just to adorable not to show you all. The dress is fully lined and has a pleated waist for that extra skirt fullness.
Dress is by Emily and Fin.

I have gone to put the Rooms for bloom dress in my Modcloth Monday so many times that I just realized I popped it in last weeks! Oh well, it doesn't hurt to have it here again.
Silly me, it is Monday after all.

Who doesn't love a sweet boarder around the hem of a dress? Well the Blue Ribbon baker dress certainly delivers this. This wonderful fit and flare dress features a lovely full skirt and a darling white embroidery around the neck as well as the hem that is accented with pearlescent beads.
I love the whole shape to this dress, I am a sucker for a full skirt anyways. The white and the blue really work together to deliver one amazing frock.

The East coat swing dress really does make me want to do a bit of swing dancing around the front room in my leopard print slippers today. This dress is made from a slight stretchy material that makes dancing a breeze. I love the contrasting in the white dots on the cap sleeves, waistline and the oh so fabulous collar that actually has removerable bow tails for a completely different look. This dress is defiantly the go to for a night of stylish twirling on the dance floor.

I want summer here already! Or at least less windy weather so I can actually go out in the fabulous Make a grand entrance dress, well that's if I owned it. This dress just screams the perfect spring dress for this year. I was pulled in by the beautiful vibrant print in hues of pink, green, and teal on white. They all go together to perfectly to create this beautiful dress. I am also really loving the deep V shaped neck line, a wonderful frame for a statement necklace.
This dress is also marked down as well! How much better can it get!

Last but defiantly not least is the Swell-heeled dress. I have seen a fellow blogger supporting this dress and I must add she does look fabulous in it. I think I was drawn in not only by the wonderful bright blue colour but the 3 leaf shaped cutouts around the neck. These leaves also match the 2 on the forward facing pockets. Each one is outlined in black piping to help it really stand out along with the black satin decorative buttons that runs a line between the pockets. Finish off this look with a belt and you have one cute looking outfit!

Its getting very close to me moving out from my boyfriends parents house and into the big world very soon so I have been looking around for cute items to make the rental house a bit more homely.
These 3 items certainly would make any house stand out.
I like cats, and that's where the Purr-Fect doormat comes in. I may not be able to have cats in the rental but I certainly can be greeted with some every day if I had this on my doorstep.
I want the Mix and Fla-mingle lights just because. I was meant to buy some last year in a local shop but sadly never did. I would love these hanging around the top of my dressing table mirror to help me put my make up on each morning and to make me smile for the rest of the day.
I don't wear scarves so you could say the Cultivate organization scarf hanger would be pointless for me but I do have a drawer or two full of Bandannas and hair scarves that I wear from time to time. They are getting all smooshed and I have to pull them all out just to find one. This hanger would be perfect to sort them out and make for easy access. I think I need one (or two).

How about 3 pairs of amazing shoes to finish off this weeks Modcloth Monday? I think yes. I won't tell you why I am in love with each of these designs as they do kind of speak for themselves. I shall just let you droll all over the screen like I am at all three. 2 & 3 also come in other sweet colours and The designer behind the Tweet of foot sandle (Miss L Fire) has a heap of amazing designs on Modcloth currently.

Modcloth Monday #4

With Only a wink dress

I have been in love with the dress for as long as I can remember on Modcloth but I am still unsure as to which colour is my favourite as they are all perfect. This dress has a wonderfully classic look with it's full skirt, bateau neckline, cap sleeves and a precious bow at the waist that just screams Hollywood glam. However this is all changed with the netting around the neck in a matching colour that really adds a kick of va va voom to an otherwise simple design.
I had a read of a few of the reviews on each page and each one is just full of great compliments about the dress that I think I may need to invest in one, Just need to decided what colour.

Preserves Purveyor Necklace

I love how sweet looking this vintage inspired cherry necklace is. Each of the red beads contrast beautifully with the shiny green leaves on a golden chain to create a wonderful statement piece. I feel like this would go with so many outfits, fruit themed or not :)

A Royal Plush Duvet Cover in Full/Queen Lull Me to Sweet Duvet Cover in Full/Queen

Oh my, I am a sucker for any cute patterned bedding, right now I am happily surrounded by cute retro pin up girls. Both of these fun filled designs are a great addition to any room, and what makes them even better is that they have matching pillows!

You have to check out the other bedding too, there is one with cute flying cats all over!

How to Make Your Cat an Internet Celebrity

I can not wait till I own a cat and I will end up taking so many pictures of it that this might actually come in handy :D

So it's Sepetember 1st and that means its the first day of spring here in Australia so I thought I would share some of my favourite floral dresses from Modcloth.

I have another dress in the same shape as the Garden crossing dress and I must say it is perfect. The amazing neckline is paired with a wonderful pleated skirt that is brightened with fresh flowers around the hem. This dress is a must have to brighten up any room this spring.
The cheery cordial dress is my favourite of the three. I have never seen it before but oh my it did catch my eye pretty quickly. With sheer cap sleeves printed in a perky floral and cherry motif, this shirt style dress has a great sense of unique vintage style, Oh and the shade of pink is perfect!
The last of the three is the cute floral dress titled, Room for Blooms. I have had my eye on this dress for a little while now due to its most beautiful shades of blues that mix so wonderfully with the white blossoms. The dress has amazing capped sleeves that flow down to a lovely full skirt. Perfect for a spring time walk in the park :)

Oh did you know, all my lucky American readers are still getting free shipping on all order $50+!

Modcloth Monday #3

Modcloth monday again!? Why yes!

I unknowingly made today all about collars until I had them next to each other. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good collared dress and these are defiantly 3 amazing ones.
The address the room dress and Mod of approval dress are very similar but who wouldn't want both hanging in their wardrobe? Each one has a sleek collar, front button closure, short sleeves and a wonderfully full flowing skirt, perfect for running around town in. They both feature a very simple yet cute polka dot pattern which just adds to the dresses retro charm.
The mum as you are dress has to be my favourite of the 3. It is pretty much the same in shape and style as the other 2 but features an amazing bright yellow flower and vine pattern that just captivates the eye of any one passing.
Any of these dresses would look amazing paired with a cute cardigan, a pair of white flats and an over the shoulder satchel to really bring the whole outfit together.

Point of You Shelf

I love quirky household decorations and this is up there with some of my favourites. A few of my silly knick kancks and cheesey family photographs would look great collected on this eye catching arrow shaped shelf that I would place pointing towards the kitchen :D

A girl can never have to many swing skirts!
These two stood out to be because of their simple features that can be paired with an awesomely pattern shirt or t-shirt and still look cute.
The Every bewitch way skirt features two pockets along the top which are guarded by two cute little red bats that are helped stand out by the red colour block band and the black background.
I really like the bold colour of the Spontaneous swing skirt that is broken up by the wavy black hemline band that would look amazing as you twirled around to your favourite tunes.
Both of these colour be worn as is or with the help of a huge petticoat to create that extra fullness.

I could keep going with this post as there is so many items to fall in love with on Modcloth but I wouldn't have anything to post for next Monday :D

Modcloth Monday #2 (40% off New arrivals)

Its that time of week again, Modcloth monday number 2.
This week I will be focusing on the new arrivals on the Modcloth website due to the launch of an amazing 3 day sale which will get you 40% off! More details at the bottom.

Shoes shoes and more shoes!

I don't buy enough shoes if I am honest, but if I had to I would own all of these in a heartbeat. They all are each as a cute as each other and would go great with any cute 50s/60s outfit. The Sweet spectator and the Editor's choice both come in other colours which makes the choosing even harder.

Wardrobe staples

These two you may have seen floating around but they have just made their way to Modcloth. I have to say they have been two of my favourites for a little while now.
The lovely all occasion pass dress is a very cute off the shoulder style covered in pink roses which should be a staple in any wardrobe. Its made of a lightweight cotton to help you get the best shape possible while remaining comfortable.
B.Jones Style skirt is to die for if I do say so myself. Its the most stunning swing styled skirt at the perfect length to be worn with or without a petticoat, both ways equally as cute. The lovely green colour is a great contrast for the detailed velvet fans that flock the elegant pleats. This would be great with a button front blouse, a cute cardi and a pair of perfectly matching shoes like the ones above.

A few cute things

I love the scientific diagram of a sailor, it a great piece of artwork for any wall with the added bonus of a moustache.
I could spend hours arranging the little gnome in his garden with all his other fun figurines. I would feel so relaxed after doing so and all my worries would just float away while I used the miniature rake to smooth the surface.
:)

The sale will start at 9am PT time (So not just yet here in Australia, so I am early) and will run right through to Thursday 10am PT time. No coupon is required for the 40% off.
Make sure you check it out here :)
